HP/MT 450 Oil-Free R290 Low Temperature Turbocompressor Industrial Chiller

Industrial chiller using oil-free centrifugal turbocompressors and natural R290 (propane) refrigerant, with the widest operating range of the three platform sizes. It handles evaporating temperatures down to -15°C and condensing temperatures up to +65°C, so it can serve low-temperature process cooling, glycol circuits, and applications with a higher heat rejection temperature. The unit is a cascade of identical compressor modules, each variable-speed controlled, so capacity follows the load and only the modules needed are running. Gas-dynamic bearings remove the compressor oil circuit, oil pumps, filters, and separators, which cuts routine maintenance. An integrated propane detection sensor at the lowest point of the refrigeration compartment starts ventilation, an alarm, and controlled compressor shutdown if a threshold is reached. Used for data center cooling, industrial process cooling, low-temperature chilled water and glycol cooling, food and beverage cooling, and chemical and pharmaceutical processes that need continuous operation and close capacity control.
