HP/MT 350 Oil-Free R290 Turbocompressor Industrial Chiller

Industrial chiller built on oil-free centrifugal turbocompressors with natural R290 (propane) refrigerant, configured for cooling duty. The compressor rotor floats on a film of refrigerant gas in gas-dynamic bearings, so there is no mechanical contact at operating speed and no compressor oil system to maintain. Variable-speed control matches compressor output to the cooling demand, and the unit stays efficient at partial load, with the COP rising as the load drops. The cold-water supply temperature can go as low as -7°C, which opens the unit to low-temperature process cooling as well as chilled water duty. Safety is built in through a propane sensor at the lowest point of the refrigeration compartment, which triggers ventilation, an alarm, and controlled compressor shutdown. The electrical connection covers 400, 440, 460, and 480 V at 50 or 60 Hz, and the unit rides through short voltage dips of up to 50 ms. Used for data center cooling, server room cooling, industrial process cooling, food and beverage cooling, chemical and pharmaceutical process cooling, and HVAC chilled water systems.
