HP/MT 290 Oil-Free R290 Turbocompressor Industrial Chiller

Industrial chiller using oil-free centrifugal turbocompressors and natural R290 (propane) refrigerant, built as a cascade of identical compressor modules. Modules are switched on and speed-controlled to match the cooling load, so capacity follows demand from partial load to full load. The compressor rotors run on gas-dynamic bearings, with no compressor oil circuit, oil pumps, filters, or separators to service. An integrated propane detection sensor sits at the lowest point of the refrigeration compartment, and when a threshold is reached the controls start ventilation, raise an alarm, and shut the compressors down in a controlled way. This model works with supply temperatures from +5°C to +35°C, which suits chilled water duty. Used for data center cooling, server room cooling, HVAC chilled water, process cooling, and industrial cooling where continuous operation, close capacity control, and a low global warming potential refrigerant are needed.
