2007 M-10 Hammer Mill

Hammer mill for medium size reduction, grinding and milling dry and semi-dry materials to a controlled particle size. It handles fibrous, tough, and hard materials, crystalline and fragile materials, and moist, fatty, or heat-sensitive products. Particle size is set through the tip speed of the hammers, the perforation size of the classifying screen, and the number and shape of the hammers. For materials that heat up during milling, such as rubbers, elastomers, resins, and products with oily substances, the mill can be run with cryogenic grinding. It is built for foodstuffs, chemical, and pharmaceutical processing, and the standard execution is in stainless steel for hygienic, easy-to-clean operation. Used in pharmaceutical, fine chemical, food, cosmetic, and resin processing for grinding powders, granules, crystals, fibers, and lumps, and for pilot and small-batch production where the grind size has to be adjustable.
