2018 Intermac Master 23 CNC Work Center for Glass and Stone

This is a CNC work center for machining flat glass and stone slabs. It has a gantry structure with a vertical spindle head that carries water coolant nozzles, for wet grinding, edging, drilling and milling. An automatic tool magazine mounted on the gantry holds multiple tool positions, so the machine can run full grinding, drilling and polishing sequences without stopping. The work table is made of aluminium bars fitted with movable vacuum suction cups, fed by a manifold with individual valves. The cups can be placed to suit each part shape, and reference stops are fitted for positioning. Bellows covers protect the axes, and cable chains guide the supply lines.

Typical work includes edge grinding and polishing, arrissing, drilling holes, and milling cut-outs, notches, slots and shaped outlines. Suitable materials are float glass, laminated glass, mirror glass, glass to be tempered, marble, granite, quartz, engineered stone, sintered stone, and ceramic and porcelain slabs.
