Willemin W418 CNC Machining Center

This is a compact vertical CNC machining center for milling, drilling, tapping and boring small, complex parts. It has an enclosed work area and a rotary table with T-slots for indexed and multi-side machining. The spindle head is visibly inclined, so features can be machined at an angle without refixturing. A disc-type automatic tool changer supports unattended cycles. The machine runs a NUM 760 CNC control and has an electronic handwheel, and a probe receiver is fitted inside the enclosure.

The machine is suited to small components in stainless steel, brass, titanium, aluminium, tool steel, precious metals and engineering plastics. Typical work includes watch cases, watch movement parts and dials, and parts for micromechanics and medical instruments. It also fits connector and electronics housings, small moulds and inserts, and prototype or short-run subcontract work. The machine comes with a spindle cooling unit, a set of steep taper toolholders, a tool presetter and the original French documentation for the machine and control.
