PowerMaX® 1250kVA containerized generator (QSK60G5 gas engine)

Natural gas generator set built around a Cummins GQSK60G5 engine, a 4-cycle, 60-degree Vee, 16-cylinder configuration, paired with a CGT PE734E or LS LSA 50.2 VL10 alternator regulated by MX321 (CGT) or R450 (LS) AVR with ±0.5% regulation. The engine features an electronic governor meeting ISO 8528 Performance Class G1 steady-state frequency requirements, and a wet sump lubrication system with external electric priming pump for pre-start lubrication and engine-driven mechanical oil pump for normal operation, supported by on-engine full-flow filtration and remote bypass filtration. The package consists of two custom-built 20ft ISO containers: the Genset container (G-Drive) houses the gas-powered generator set and controls in one compartment and the high-temperature cooling radiator with low-speed roof-mounted fans in the other; the Gas Ancillary Module (GAM) container houses the exhaust silencing system, low-temperature cooling radiators/fans, header tanks, and storage for the gas train and external items. Both containers feature compartment walls fully lined with non-combustible mineral fibre acoustic linings retained by galvanised perforated steel sheet, with noise-attenuated ventilation air inlets and outlets. Containers are CSC certified with corner castings for handling, lockable doors, and internal lighting. Used in power generation, cogeneration, and remote/off-grid electricity supply for natural gas fueled electrical power production in industrial, commercial, and oil & gas applications.
