2001 Tamglass HTF 1730 Glass Tempering Furnace (Glaston Upgraded 2020)

Glass tempering furnace for the heat treatment of flat glass, processing sheets up to 1700x3000 mm in thicknesses from 3-19 mm. The furnace uses a heated chamber system to bring glass to tempering temperature before rapid cooling (quenching) to increase impact resistance and thermal stability of the finished product. The unit underwent a software and electronics upgrade and renewal by Glaston in 2020, updating control systems while retaining the original furnace structure. Used in glass processing plants for the production of tempered safety glass for architectural, automotive, furniture, and appliance applications.
