2016 Lugo Engineering Wave 5/16 Fruit Sorting and Grading Machine

Fruit sorting and grading machine designed for pomegranate processing, combining crown cleaning, washing, disinfection, drying, and weight-based sorting into a single automated line. Fruit travels individually on dedicated plastic carriers that prevent rolling and mechanical impact throughout the sorting process, protecting delicate skin and crown structure from damage. The pre-sorting stage combines an air jet system for crown cleaning and post-wash drying with a waterfall washing and disinfection unit, supported by a water tank, pump, and automatic filtration system for water recirculation. Sixteen weight-based output channels allow precise grading into different commercial size categories for packing. Chassis construction uses anodized aluminum profiles with stainless steel 304L covers, suited to food-grade hygiene requirements. Used in fruit packing houses and post-harvest processing facilities for pomegranate calibration, washing, and sorting ahead of packaging and distribution.
