2019 Forvet Combiflex Multifunctional CNC Glass Processing Robotic Work Cell with Forbot 3050 Glass Transport and Sorting System

Multifunctional CNC machine and robotic work cell for the industrial processing of flat glass, combining many operations in one compact unit. It runs fully automatically through loading, edge grinding with cup wheels, polishing, drilling, countersinking, milling of notches and cutouts, waterjet cutting, washing, drying, and unloading. The 16 drilling spindles, split into two groups of 8, drill holes in a wide range of glass sizes and thicknesses, and an optional setup extends edge grinding to small formats. The Siemens-based numerical control detects the size and thickness of each incoming glass sheet on its own, which removes setup time and manual intervention between different jobs. A glass transport and sorting system is included, so the cell can be linked to the rest of the line. The machine is in like-new condition. Used in glass processing plants and glass fabricators for high-volume production of shower doors, furniture glass, mirrors, kitchen backsplashes, partition walls, and structural architectural glazing.
